OUTCOME OF THE FLEA MARKET!!}
Saturday, 26 September 2015 | 19:06 | 0Comment Been busy till I forgot to post about the outcome of the flea market last week! The White Sands Flea Market was held on the 19th to 20th September at the White Sands Open Field. Apart from the flea market, there was a movie drive in and picnic mat for those who want to watch the movies featuring Jurassic World and X- Men on both days!! Thank God that the crowd was overwhelming but to see the fact, a lot of them will just browse around and only take a look what the flea market have to offer. From my experience, it was the worst and I am very disappointed with the outcome because people is too demanding even though I sold my preloved items as low as $2 but yet, some of them try to bargain and haggle the amount to $1. I was like what? Are they being cheapskate or just being thrifty? From my own perspective, I think they are being so unreasonable because they should know that the items that we sold are still in a good condition and to see that the price sold at $2 to $5 is okay, some could not get it but to still ask for more discount. Why don't they support local entrepreneurs? We, as the young entrepreneurs trying to earn for what we have but yet people do not understand. I guess if you could afford something way better than this, you should not have the verge to ask more unreasonable discount. Overall, I guess the positive side is that some people are willing to fork up more money to support us and I am grateful with them as they are the one who made me motivated to do more this flea market in the future to come or maybe to set up a small pop store. I hope that next time, the people are able to be understandable and try to think that we, as the entrepreneurs are also making an extra income from this flea market.
