SYDNEY 2014 }
Thursday, 29 May 2014 | 19:45 | 0Comment May 2014. 2 more days to June 2014. I can't wait for the day to come. Before I say what is it? Let me talk about my short yet rewarding vacation to Sydney with Mummy. I am fortunate to get the opportunity to go to Sydney like finally as I went to other parts of Aussie before. It is short and sweet but I have hell lots of fun with my Mummy. Let me keep it short. This time I will post some pictures for your viewing. First Day: Went to take Qantas Airways to Sydney around 11pm and reached around 8am the next day. It was tiring for me as my first time taking a night flight to anywhere in the world. Pick up service from Airport to Sydney. Went to Paddy Market for souvenirs and having dinner at Chinatown (the only Malay food available at the point in time). Proceed back to hotel with our huge load of souvenirs and shopping. So affordable that me and my mum cant take it to by whatever we see. Second Day: Proceed to the city area. Mainly the Queen Victoria Building, Westfield and Myer. Do our shopping there and had breakfast at the Café. While my mum was shopping, I went to buy zumbarons from Adriano Zumbo. Love it and bought about 30pcs back to Singapore for my own consumption. I did some mini shopping as the price at the shopping area do not differ from Singapore. Only bought some clothes that came from Australia. Overall, the day spent on the shopping the most. Third Day: Went to take trains to Katoomba (Blue Mountains). Took 2 hours to go there and it was spectacular when I reached there because the scenery was so awesome that my jaw dropped. The mountain was blue and it is quite a relaxing moment to de stress myself. Nevertheless, I managed to take this service called Explorer Bus around the Village. Grab some snacks and bought some soothing candles and souvenirs from Laura Village. Such a calm village and relaxed place to chill unlike Singapore, the people around here is busy working and no time for free time. Proceed back to the hotel and ate at this same restaurant at the Chinatown. Last day: Checked out and do last mins shopping around the City area but unfortunately, the shop opens at noon and our flight is at 3pm. Just took some photos here and there before going to the Airport. Reached Singapore around 11pm. Even though it is short trip, I would like to go there again with my family and friends as the life there is pretty laid back and everyone are not rushing to do their work. Their lifestyle is cool as they are able to manage to have life work balance but I see that the people there are friendly. I will flying soon to Sydney again. Just stay tuned and look out for my next post. Thanks to SGTravellers/Jetabout Holidays. Before I end this post, I am glad to say this: ORD LOH. 6 June will be my last day of service in the army and just cant wait to kick start the real world outside. I will be going to travel and at the same working part time before my school starts in August. I would like to wish that my life will be better than ever. (: |
